The Dymock Virtual 10K event is scheduled for Saturday the 24th October.

The Run has been created due to the cancellation of this years Half Marathon and scheduled 10K race from May and September.

The Virtual 10k race can be run from anywhere in the world or if entrants choose to, they can run the official certified 10k route originally scheduled for May, the route details can be found in the event manual below.

Any profits made will be donated to local community projects, these to be decided once the race is done and in consultation with the club committee.

Each finisher will receive a unique Dymock Virtual 10k medal

To Enter just go to the Run Britain website, enter a race, and search for Dymock, and October.

Every Entrant must record the run they complete on a smart running watch such as Garmin, Strava, or a phone capable of tracking the route.  The route must clearly show the distance has been completed, either as 10 Kilometres, 10000 meters or 6.214 Miles.  It must also show the time taken to complete.

Entrants can choose to run it or walk the choice is theirs.

Once complete and recorded the Entrant must e-mail the results of the recorded run through Screen shots or links to the run to john.townsend343@btinternet.com

Once confirmed the Entrant will receive a finishers Medal, this can be posted or preferably collected from Dymock Cricket club the following Saturday after the Run.
