Teams at Dymock

Dymock CC run 3 Saturday league teams, the 1st XI currently play in Division 5 of the Gloucestershire County League, the 2nd XI are in Division 1 West of the Cheltenham/Gloucester/Forest of Dean league and the 3rd XI compete in Division 2 of the same league. The 1st XI will be keen to gain promotion as they finished 3rd from bottom in Division 3 in 2015, only to find that they were relegated 2 divisions due to a major restructuring of the league! The 2nd XI had a frustrating season in 2015, on paper the team looked strong most weeks, but performances didn’t reflect this. Hopefully 2016 will be different story. The 3rd XI is mainly used as a development team to bring the juniors gradually into senior cricket and they are supported by a few Dad’s and veteran players from past times!
